Ep. 14 - Central Texas Rut Hunt
Show Notes

In this episode, George Blitch, Matthew Mitchell and Danny Way sit down to talk about their hunt in Central Texas during the peak of the rut. All year long, these three guys work diligently to maintain the operations of the ranch, and leave it looking as pristine as possible, so they can enjoy a weekend of hunting only. Who are we kidding? There is no such thing as a “hunt only” weekend. There is Always work to do, however, they got some good time out in the field and they….

Wait, you thought we’d give it all away in this description? C’mon man….you got to tune in to find out what went down. :)

Enjoy the tales of chasing white-tails and the elusive hogs that depredate the landscape…and find out if these guys filled their freezers or if they are stuck with sucking down some Tag Soup.

In this episode, George Blitch also talks about a previous hunt where he took one of the largest melanistic white-tailed deer in the country. He dubbed the buck, "Black Beauty," and wrote an article about their history, which was featured in many hunting magazines and online articles, as well.
