George Bowe Blitch sits down with legendary drummer, producer, coach, mentor, and record label owner, KJ Sawka, to talk about his musical progression  - from beating on pots and pans as a kid in Seattle, to blasting bass beats on some of the world's largest stages.

The two explore KJ's musical timeline, sharing his candid stories, lessons, and thoughts on a whole range of topics.

KJ speaks about many of the groups he has played with, such as Pendulum, Destroid, The Private Language, Illenium, Conspirator, Blood Drums, ill.Gates, Mr. Bill, Siamese, AriSawkaDoria, and well as collaborations with artists such as BT, Amon Tobin, Andy Summers of the Police, and Michael Shrieve of Santana.

KJ, along with his wife Cori, hold down the prominent Impossible Records, through which they set loose number one record after number one record of some of the gnarliest heavy hitting bass music around.

With almost 100 releases and multiple number one records and sample packs, KJ Sawka has been at the forefront of music production, drum technology and taken many producers to main stages with electronic/live technology and connectivity.
